Overview

The Chief Operating Officer is responsible for overseeing the organization’s daily operations and ensuring that our programs align with our mission to drive social impact in Uganda. This role involves strategic planning, resource management, and fostering collaboration among teams to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in our community work. The COO plays a crucial role in guiding our operational strategies to support our vision and growth.

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee daily operations and ensure alignment with organizational mission.
  2. Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  3. Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and community partners.
  4. Monitor organizational performance and implement improvements as needed.
  5. Lead and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
  6. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  7. Develop budgets and manage financial resources responsibly.
  8. Coordinate program development and evaluation to maximize impact.
  9. Facilitate communication across departments to ensure cohesive operations.
  10. Represent Little x Little at community events and meetings to raise awareness and support.
