Overview

The Director of Specialist leads a team focused on enhancing program effectiveness and community engagement through specialized knowledge and expertise. This role involves strategic planning, collaboration with stakeholders, and driving initiatives that directly impact social change in Uganda. The Director ensures that our programs are not only impactful but also aligned with the needs of the communities we serve.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead program development and execution to achieve organizational goals.
  2. Oversee specialist teams and ensure effective collaboration across departments.
  3. Develop and manage budgets for various programs and initiatives.
  4. Establish partnerships with local organizations, government agencies, and stakeholders.
  5. Monitor and evaluate program impact and effectiveness through data analysis.
  6. Provide training and support to staff and volunteers to enhance skills and knowledge.
  7. Advocate for the organization's mission and represent it in community forums.
  8. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in all programs.
  9. Develop communication strategies to promote program successes and engage supporters.
