Overview

The Principal Officer is responsible for overseeing the organization's strategic initiatives and ensuring effective program delivery in Uganda. This role involves leading a dedicated team, fostering partnerships, and driving community engagement to achieve meaningful social impact. The Principal Officer is pivotal in shaping the vision and mission of the nonprofit, guiding it toward sustainable growth and success.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead and oversee the strategic direction of Little x Little.
  2. Manage daily operations and ensure efficient program implementation.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders.
  4. Develop and monitor budgets, ensuring financial sustainability.
  5. Coordinate fundraising efforts and develop strategies for resource mobilization.
  6. Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  7. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  8. Communicate organizational goals and successes to the public and supporters.
  9. Evaluate program impact and make data-driven decisions for improvement.
  10. Represent Little x Little at community events and networking opportunities.
