Assistant Manager

Overview

The Assistant Manager plays a vital role in supporting the organization's daily operations and strategic initiatives. This position involves collaborating with team members to enhance program effectiveness, manage volunteer efforts, and foster community engagement, all aimed at driving social impact in Uganda. The Assistant Manager ensures that our mission is carried out smoothly and efficiently while nurturing a positive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

  1. Support the management team in daily operations and decision-making.
  2. Assist in developing and implementing program strategies and initiatives.
  3. Coordinate communication between staff, volunteers, and stakeholders.
  4. Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports on outcomes.
  5. Help organize events, fundraisers, and community outreach activities.
  6. Assist in managing budgets and financial tracking for projects.
  7. Recruit, train, and mentor volunteers and interns.
  8. Foster relationships with community partners and donors.
  9. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
