Administrative officer

Overview

The Administrative Officer plays a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations by managing administrative tasks, supporting staff, and coordinating resources. This position helps streamline processes and enhance communication, allowing the organisation to focus on driving social impact in Uganda and beyond.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  2. Support the planning and execution of organizational events and activities.
  3. Maintain accurate records and files, both digital and physical.
  4. Assist in financial management, including budgeting and reporting.
  5. Coordinate communication within the team and with external partners.
  6. Oversee procurement of office supplies and equipment.
  7. Facilitate onboarding and training for new staff and volunteers.
  8. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  9. Assist in developing and implementing administrative policies.
  10. Support the executive team with scheduling and documentation.
