Overview

The Assistant Operations Manager plays a vital role in ensuring our programs run smoothly and effectively. This position involves supporting day-to-day operations, coordinating logistics, and facilitating communication among team members to enhance our impact in the community. By streamlining processes and assisting with project management, the Assistant Operations Manager helps us deliver on our mission of driving social change in Uganda.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures.
  • Support project management efforts to ensure timely and effective execution of initiatives.
  • Coordinate with team members to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track organizational progress.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to enhance collaboration.
  • Oversee inventory management and supply chain logistics.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial reporting.
  • Participate in training and onboarding of new staff and volunteers.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform operational strategies.
  • Support fundraising efforts and donor relations as needed.
