Overview

The Operations Planner plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of our programs and initiatives. This position involves coordinating logistics, managing resources, and supporting our team to maximize our social impact in Uganda. By streamlining operations, the Operations Planner helps us focus on what truly matters: uplifting communities and driving positive change.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain operational plans to support program objectives.
  • Coordinate logistics for project implementation, ensuring timely resource allocation.
  • Monitor and evaluate operational processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • Prepare and analyze reports to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Support budget preparation and financial management related to operations.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to enhance collaboration.
  • Assist in training and onboarding new staff and volunteers in operational procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
