Overview

The Mobilization and Information position at the organisation focuses on engaging community members and stakeholders to foster collaboration and support for our initiatives in Uganda. This role involves gathering, organizing, and sharing crucial information to empower our partners, volunteers, and donors, ensuring everyone is informed and motivated to drive social change together.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement community mobilization strategies to engage local stakeholders.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to educate volunteers and community members.
  • Collect, analyze, and disseminate information related to community needs and project impacts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with community leaders, partners, and organizations.
  • Coordinate outreach activities to raise awareness of the organisation initiatives.
  • Support the development of promotional materials and content for campaigns.
  • Monitor and evaluate mobilization efforts to ensure effectiveness and alignment with goals.
  • Assist in organizing community events and engagement activities.
  • Serve as a liaison between the organization and the community to foster collaboration.
