Overview

The Welfare position at the organisation, focuses on ensuring the well-being of the communities we serve in Uganda. This role involves assessing needs, coordinating support services, and fostering partnerships to enhance the quality of life for vulnerable populations. By advocating for social safety nets and resources, the Welfare team plays a vital role in promoting resilience and empowerment within the community.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct needs assessments to identify welfare challenges in the community.
  • Develop and implement welfare programs that address identified needs.
  • Coordinate with local organizations and stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of welfare initiatives.
  • Provide support and resources to vulnerable populations.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to empower community members.
  • Gather and analyze data to inform program development and improvements.
  • Advocate for policies that promote social welfare and community well-being.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on welfare program outcomes.
