General Secretary

Overview

The General Secretary serves as the backbone of the organization, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication among team members, stakeholders, and the community. This role involves coordinating activities, managing resources, and supporting strategic initiatives to drive social impact in Uganda and beyond. With a focus on collaboration and transparency, the General Secretary helps foster a culture of engagement and shared purpose within the organization.

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee daily operations and management of Little x Little.
  2. Coordinate communication between board members, staff, and stakeholders.
  3. Facilitate meetings and prepare agendas and minutes.
  4. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  5. Manage organizational records and documentation.
  6. Support fundraising efforts and donor relations.
  7. Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives.
  8. Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and impact.
  9. Act as a spokesperson for the organization in public forums.
  10. Foster partnerships with other organizations and community groups.
