Overview

The Senior Records Officer is responsible for managing and safeguarding the organization’s records and data, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with regulations. This role involves developing and implementing effective record-keeping systems, training staff on best practices, and facilitating the secure storage and retrieval of vital information to support our mission in Uganda.

Responsibilities

  1. Oversee the management and organization of all records and documents.
  2. Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations.
  3. Develop and implement efficient record-keeping systems.
  4. Train staff on proper recording and documentation practices.
  5. Conduct regular audits of records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  6. Coordinate with other departments to maintain updated records.
  7. Assist in the digitization of paper records for enhanced accessibility.
  8. Respond to internal and external requests for information and records.
  9. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.
