Overview

The Records Officer plays a crucial role in managing and organizing all organizational records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. This position involves maintaining databases, overseeing documentation processes, and supporting compliance with data management policies to enhance transparency and efficiency within the nonprofit.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and organized records of all program activities and financial transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and organizational policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of record-keeping systems.
  • Conduct regular audits of records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Facilitate easy access to information for staff and stakeholders when required.
  • Train staff on proper record-keeping procedures and data management practices.
  • Collaborate with program managers to support data collection and reporting needs.
  • Manage the archiving and disposal of outdated records as per policy guidelines.
  • Prepare reports on record-keeping metrics and compliance status.
