Overview

The IT Support Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the organization's technology infrastructure and support systems. This role ensures that all staff and volunteers have the technical resources they need to effectively drive social impact initiatives in Uganda. By managing a team of IT support staff, the supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining efficient operations and enhancing overall productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the IT support team to ensure efficient operations.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
  • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to enhance system security.
  • Coordinate IT training sessions for staff and volunteers to improve tech literacy.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including networks and servers.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects aligned with organizational goals.
  • Manage relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
  • Prepare reports on IT performance and support metrics for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and privacy regulations.
