Senior ICT Support Officer

Overview

The Senior ICT Support Officer at the organisation plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our technology systems and platforms. This position involves managing IT support services, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance our operational efficiency. By providing expert guidance and support, you’ll help empower our team to drive social impact in Uganda and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for ICT systems and infrastructure.
  • Manage software and hardware installations and upgrades.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of organizational data.
  • Train staff on effective use of ICT tools and resources.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve ICT-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for service and support.
  • Monitor and maintain network performance and reliability.
  • Develop and implement ICT policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of ICT projects.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices.
