IT Support Officer

Overview

The IT Support Officer is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our technology systems and providing technical assistance to staff and volunteers. This role involves troubleshooting issues, maintaining hardware and software, and supporting the digital needs of our nonprofit platform to enhance our impact in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for staff and volunteers.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
  • Manage and monitor network infrastructure for optimal performance.
  • Assist in the implementation of IT policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular system backups and data recovery operations.
  • Train staff and volunteers on IT tools and best practices.
  • Document IT processes and maintain an updated knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with external IT vendors and service providers.
  • Ensure cybersecurity measures are in place and regularly updated.
  • Provide support for virtual meetings and online collaboration tools.
