Overview

The IT Technician plays a vital role in ensuring that our technology systems run smoothly and efficiently. This position involves troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining hardware and software, and providing support to staff and volunteers, ultimately helping us to maximize our impact in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for hardware and software issues.
  • Install and configure computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and update inventory of IT equipment and software.
  • Assist in the implementation of new technologies and systems.
  • Ensure data security and backup procedures are followed.
  • Train staff on IT tools and best practices.
  • Collaborate with external vendors for IT services and support.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
