Technical Officer

Overview

The Technical Officer is essential for ensuring that all organizational machinery operates smoothly and efficiently. This role involves diagnosing and repairing equipment, allowing the nonprofit to maintain its operations and focus on driving social impact in Uganda.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on all organizational equipment and machinery.
  2. Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions promptly.
  3. Maintain an inventory of spare parts and tools necessary for repairs.
  4. Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols during all technical operations.
  5. Provide training and support to staff on the proper use of equipment.
  6. Document all maintenance and repair activities for record-keeping.
  7. Collaborate with other team members to improve equipment efficiency and performance.
  8. Assist in the procurement of new machinery and tools as needed.
