Chief Technology Officer

Overview

The Chief Technology Officer is responsible for overseeing the organization’s technology strategy and implementation, ensuring that our digital platforms effectively support our mission of driving social impact in Uganda. This role involves managing technical teams, optimizing our online presence, and leveraging innovative technologies to enhance our programs and outreach efforts. The CTO will play a critical role in aligning our tech initiatives with organizational goals, fostering collaboration, and empowering our community through accessible digital solutions.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead the development and implementation of technology strategies aligned with Little x Little's mission.
  2. Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, ensuring security, reliability, and efficiency.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technology needs and opportunities.
  4. Drive innovation through the adoption of new technologies and digital tools.
  5. Manage and mentor the technology team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with technology partners and vendors.
  7. Monitor technology trends and assess their potential impact on organizational goals.
  8. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and best practices.
  9. Prepare and manage the technology budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness in tech initiatives.
  10. Report on technology performance and initiatives to the board and stakeholders.
