Overview

The Relevant Director is responsible for ensuring that the organization’s programs and initiatives align with the needs of the communities we serve in Uganda. This role involves strategic planning, community engagement, and collaboration with stakeholders to maximize social impact and drive meaningful change. Through effective leadership and a deep understanding of local contexts, the Relevant Director helps create solutions that resonate with and empower our beneficiaries.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute strategic plans to advance company's mission and goals.
  2. Oversee program development and implementation to ensure alignment with community needs.
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and community partners.
  4. Lead fundraising initiatives to secure financial resources for ongoing and new projects.
  5. Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
  6. Manage a team of staff and volunteers, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  7. Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards in all operations.
  8. Represent company at community events, conferences, and meetings to promote visibility and support.
  9. Develop communication strategies to effectively share the organization's impact and stories.
