Overview

The Retention Specialist is dedicated to nurturing relationships with our donors and volunteers, ensuring they feel valued and engaged with our mission. This role focuses on developing communication strategies, implementing retention initiatives, and fostering a sense of community among supporters to drive long-term commitment to our cause in Uganda.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement retention strategies to enhance donor and volunteer engagement.
  2. Analyze donor and volunteer data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  3. Communicate regularly with donors and volunteers to build strong relationships.
  4. Create and distribute impactful newsletters and updates about our initiatives.
  5. Organize appreciation events and recognition programs to celebrate our supporters.
  6. Collaborate with the marketing team to craft compelling stories that highlight our impact.
  7. Monitor feedback and conduct surveys to gauge satisfaction and gather insights.
  8. Provide training and support for staff on effective retention practices.
  9. Report on retention metrics and suggest adjustments to strategies as needed.
