Overview

The Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring that all facilities and equipment are well-maintained and operational, supporting our mission to drive social impact in Uganda. This role involves overseeing maintenance staff, managing budgets, and implementing safety protocols to create a safe and efficient environment for our programs and community engagement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee maintenance operations for facilities and equipment.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Manage a team of maintenance staff and contractors.
  • Coordinate repairs and upgrades to infrastructure.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies.
  • Develop and manage the maintenance budget.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Train staff on proper maintenance practices and safety protocols.
  • Report on maintenance activities and outcomes to management.
