Overview

The IT Director is responsible for overseeing the organization's technology strategy and infrastructure to support our mission-driven work in Uganda. This role involves managing IT projects, ensuring data security, and implementing innovative solutions that enhance operational efficiency and community engagement. The IT Director works closely with staff and stakeholders to align technology initiatives with our goals for social impact.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement the IT strategy aligned with Little x Little's mission and goals.
  2. Oversee the management of all IT infrastructure and ensure system reliability.
  3. Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
  4. Ensure data security and compliance with applicable regulations and best practices.
  5. Manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers.
  6. Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
  7. Oversee the IT budget and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to support their technology needs.
  9. Monitor IT performance metrics and report on progress to senior leadership.
  10. Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans to safeguard IT systems.
