Bright Parents Nursery and Primary School in Kisowera, Mukono District, has been invited to represent Uganda at a Junior Ultimate Frisbee Tournament hosted at Kaimosi University in Kenya. The team consists of 24 talented student athletes under the age of 16, accompanied by 9 teachers and coaches.
For these children, this opportunity is about much more than sports. It is a chance to build confidence, develop leadership skills, experience cultural exchange, and demonstrate that children from rural communities can compete and excel on an international stage.
Many of the participating students have never traveled outside their district, and this tournament presents a life-changing opportunity to broaden their horizons while proudly representing their school, community, and country.
To participate, the team requires support for transportation, accommodation, meals, tournament-related expenses, border-crossing requirements, and essential travel logistics. The project seeks to raise up to USD 4,000 to enable the safe participation of all 33 travelers.
By supporting this initiative, donors will help young people gain valuable life experiences, strengthen teamwork and leadership skills, and inspire hundreds of other students in their community to pursue their dreams beyond geographical and economic limitations.
