UI/UX Designer

Overview

The UI/UX Designer at the organisation will create intuitive and engaging digital experiences for our nonprofit platform, enhancing user interaction and satisfaction. This role involves researching user needs, designing user interfaces, and collaborating with the development team to ensure our platform effectively supports social impact initiatives in Uganda and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research to understand the needs and behaviors of our target audience.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for web and mobile interfaces.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement innovative solutions for product direction.
  • Usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs based on user input.
  • Ensure a consistent and accessible user experience across all digital platforms.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design.
  • Develop and maintain design guidelines and documentation.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
  • Assist in identifying and solving user experience problems in existing platforms.
