Overview

The Reception/Operations Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations while providing a warm welcome to visitors and stakeholders. This position involves managing front desk activities, coordinating communications, and supporting administrative tasks to enhance the organization's overall effectiveness in driving social impact in Uganda.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Manage incoming phone calls and emails, directing inquiries to appropriate staff members.
  • Maintain office organization, including supplies inventory and equipment maintenance.
  • Support administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and managing calendars.
  • Assist with data entry and maintain accurate records for programs and activities.
  • Coordinate logistics for events and meetings, including venue setup and materials preparation.
  • Provide support to staff and volunteers, fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Help with outreach efforts, including managing social media updates and community engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the office space.
