Overview

Porters/Loaders play a vital role in supporting our grassroots initiatives by helping to transport supplies and materials to various project sites across Uganda. They ensure that essential resources reach those in need, enhancing our community impact and facilitating the smooth operation of our programs. This position is crucial for maintaining the flow of aid and support to vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading supplies and materials for community projects.
• Transport goods to designated locations safely and efficiently.
• Ensure the proper handling of equipment to avoid damage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of loading areas.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate transport logistics.
• Report any issues or discrepancies in supplies to the supervisor.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Provide support during community outreach events as needed.
• Participate in training sessions to improve transport skills.
• Assist in inventory management by keeping track of loaded and unloaded items.
