Overview

The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator is responsible for overseeing the online learning platform that supports our educational initiatives in Uganda. This role includes managing course content, tracking learner progress, and ensuring a user-friendly experience for volunteers and community members. By facilitating access to vital training resources, the LMS Administrator plays a key role in enhancing our impact and empowering individuals through education.

Responsibilities

  1. Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure optimal performance.
  2. Develop, upload, and organize educational content and resources for users.
  3. Provide training and support to staff and volunteers on how to effectively use the LMS.
  4. Monitor user engagement and progress, generating reports to assess learning outcomes.
  5. Collaborate with program teams to identify training needs and develop relevant learning modules.
  6. Ensure the LMS is user-friendly and accessible to all users, including troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  7. Stay updated on LMS trends and technologies to recommend improvements or upgrades.
  8. Implement best practices for data security and user privacy within the LMS.
  9. Facilitate communication between users to foster a supportive learning community.
