Overview

The Inventory Controller is responsible for managing and overseeing all inventory-related activities, ensuring accurate tracking of supplies and resources for our programs. This role involves maintaining optimal stock levels, coordinating with vendors, and supporting our team in delivering impactful services to the community. By ensuring efficient inventory management, the Inventory Controller plays a key role in maximizing our effectiveness as a nonprofit organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to maintain accuracy and integrity of stock records.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitor stock movement and identify trends to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Implement and maintain inventory management systems and processes.
  • Prepare reports on inventory status and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Train and support staff on inventory procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations regarding inventory management.
  • Collaborate with program teams to align inventory with project needs.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting related to inventory costs.
