ICT Trainer

Overview

The ICT Trainer is responsible for empowering community members through digital literacy and technology skills. This role involves designing and delivering engaging training sessions, ensuring participants can effectively use technology to enhance their personal and professional lives. By fostering a culture of learning, the trainer helps bridge the digital divide and supports the organization's mission of driving social impact in Uganda.

Responsibilities

  1. Design and deliver ICT training programs for community members and volunteers.
  2. Assess the ICT skills of participants and tailor training content accordingly.
  3. Develop training materials, manuals, and resources to support learning.
  4. Facilitate workshops and hands-on sessions to enhance practical skills.
  5. Provide ongoing support and mentorship to participants post-training.
  6. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.
  7. Collaborate with other team members to integrate ICT into organizational initiatives.
  8. Stay updated on the latest ICT trends and tools relevant to the community.
  9. Promote digital literacy and the benefits of technology in everyday life.
